Hello! My name is Simon Dalley and Meeting Marketers is my doing.
I’ve been working in marketing for around twenty years and I’ve always been fascinated by the stories marketers tell each other about their experiences in marketing.
As the owner of an SEO agency, I frequently get people asking me what it’s like to set up and own a business, but I realised there are very few places dedicated to providing a platform for marketers to share their stories.
I’ve got a load of marketing stories and some I’m happy to shout from the rooftops and some I tend to keep buried deep down. I’d like to think I would be able to shares some stories about what has worked for me that could offer some insight and perhaps some inspiration and I’d love to hear what’s worked and not worked for others.
So here it is. I’m launching this as a beta test project in February 2021. To begin with, it’s just going to be about marketers submitting a written interview that I’ll then add as a post but in the future, I’d like to think we can introduce some video interviews as well. Let’s see where it goes. It would be great to have you join me on this journey.
